Little Fuzzy is a classic science fiction novel written by H. Beam Piper, first published in 1962. The story is set on the distant planet Zarathustra, where a prospector named Jack Holloway discovers a species of small, furry creatures he names 'Fuzzies.' These intelligent creatures exhibit signs of sentience, which sparks a legal and ethical debate over their rights. As Holloway forms a bond with the Fuzzies, he becomes determined to protect them from exploitation by the Zarathustra Corporation, which seeks to profit from the planet's resources without regard for the indigenous life forms. With the help of his friends and allies, Holloway fights to prove the Fuzzies' intelligence and secure their rights as a sentient species.
